After a lifetime of exploring and experimenting with artistic mediums and styles, artist Jade Summer established herself in the tattooing industry in 2017, during the postpartum period of her first born daughter.
Specialising in black and grey tattooing, Jade delicately and methodically creates custom tattoo designs and applies them to skin. Her main focus is fineline and floral tattooing, but also makes realistic portraits and has a strong capability for black and grey tattoos.
Not only does Jade offer tattoos, but tattoo courses as well. These courses can be tailored to the tattoo or artistic experience of anyone hoping to get their foot into the door of the tattoo industry. These intensive, 1-2-1 courses cover a period of 1 or 2 weeks, depending on the trainee's capabilities.
Jade is a pagan artist on the spectrum (ADHD and Autism) and uses her art as a way to express and manifest her love for her main interests: archaeology, nature and magic. Time to create art is a mindfulness tool to self~soothe and unwind from the chaotic and structured society we live in, as well as giving attention to her special interests.
The "weird and wonderful" aspects of life are a combination of concepts that Jade likes to bring together in her pieces. She often combines flowers, commonly thought of as classically beautiful throughout time, with morbid ideas of death or creepy creatures which can be misunderstood, overlooked and despised simply for their appearance.
